This piece is very significant for me as an artist several reasons. It’s part of my Spirits of Babylon series and my global statement about our deep craving for communication, love and understanding that the Covid crisis laid bare. It’s also the first real landscape I ever painted. And the mountain at the far upper right reminds me of the summer I lived in Japan and visited much of it with my Dad. He immediately recognized it and gave me a call to tell me he loved the painting, which was very personally rewarding for me. The title comes from a song by one of favorite contemporary hard rock bands, Rival Sons.
Original size: 40 by 30 acrylic on canvas, custom prints available in a wide range of sizes, materials and styles. The original was professionally photographed at a state-of-the-art studio to provide the absolute highest quality print image available. I'm a passionate art collector myself and went to the extra effort to make sure my fans are happy with their purchases and proud to hang them in their homes or offices.
